Tania Sepulveda, LCSW
Tania Sepulveda is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with children, youth, adolescents, families, and young adults. Clinical specialties include survivors of domestic violence, LGBTQ+ individuals, and first/second-generation Latinx individuals navigating generational differences in their family systems. She employs a diverse range of techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and play therapy (when necessary), complemented by a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and multicultural approach. Her work helps clients foster relational and interpersonal growth, all within a non-directive—yet solution-focused—framework.
Tania brings a rich and diverse perspective to her therapeutic practice. Her sessions are a blend of authenticity and empathy, offering a safe space where clients can explore every aspect of their lives. She firmly believes that change comes from confronting life transitions directly and utilizing these experiences to foster personal growth. She emphasizes radical acceptance, encouraging clients to move at their own pace, within a nurturing and supportive environment. Through her therapeutic approach, clients can anticipate an empowering journey, characterized by insightful explorations and mutual learning. Tania aims to be not just a therapist but a fellow human who walks beside her clients, helping them to discover their voice and strengths, with a touch of humor to lighten the moments.
Tania received her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Social Work at Northeastern Illinois University.

I enjoy spending time with my loved ones! Exploring nature by hikes, road trips, relaxing by bodies of water, and sightseeing. I'm a dog mom whose life revolves around my 7-year-old bulldog who typically keeps me on my feet. I also love to write and dance as hobbies.
