She provides a nurturing environment for clients to challenge unhelpful beliefs and behaviors, while also enabling them to explore their current emotions and thoughts, guiding them toward self-determined conclusions and next steps.

Her therapeutic sessions also incorporate elements of self-compassion and motivational interviewing. She also utilizes art therapy as an additional channel for exploration and expression —with an emphasis on fun and learning rather than artistic judgement.

Katie earned her Masters in Counseling Psychology with a focus on art therapy at Adler University and her Bachelor’s degree at Columbia College. Her unique academic background mirrors her eclectic therapeutic approach, seamlessly blending traditional counseling methods with creative expression to support her clients on their journey toward self-growth and understanding.
