Lauren Fontana, LCSW
Lauren is the owner and founder of Brave Talk Therapy. She is a dedicated and passionate clinical social worker that believes in the power of change and knows how to help her clients feel more confident and secure in their lives, regardless of their specific demographics and circumstances.
Lauren knows that starting therapy can be scary and knows how to build trust and connection with her clients to help them make progress in their goals. Her social work background allows her to advocate for her clients and help them appreciate that they are the owner and “knower of all” when it comes to their life stories and experiences. Overall, Lauren sees her role as a supportive guide—helping her clients to safely improve their lives and become their most authentic selves.
Lauren utilizes a variety of therapeutic methods with her clients, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and trauma therapy. Her clinical specialties include working with children, teens, and women, but she also works with individuals and families. She has over 15 years of experience in the field and received her Bachelor’s degree from St. Norbert College and her Master’s degree at Dominican University.

Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and finding the humor in all of the little things that life has to offer. She loves reality TV and finds it to be great self-care! She also loves musicals and listening to their soundtracks while in the car—especially with her little one. She is also passionate about advocacy and social justice.
