Children
All kids want to be heard and seen. Therapy provides them a safe space to have time without all the distractions that are now a part of our world. Therapy allows time for a clinician who has an outside and unbiased view of your child to build a relationship with them and develop rapport. Clinicians are then able to assess your child’s needs whether it be general anxiety, separation anxiety, school issues, behavioral issues, or a struggle to cope with changes that have occurred in their daily life.
As a parent, it is important to validate that all children are different and have their own strengths and weaknesses. Whether it is anxiety. depression or even struggles managing behavior, we aim to play off of their strengths. Clinicians provide them with the tools they need to be their most successful selves in all parts of their lives. Therapy also provides parents, caregivers, and other family members the tools they need to assist their children in daily life by providing information and reviewing the techniques learned in session. Brave Talk Therapy will ensure that your child has an advocate in session and that you are prepared to be their advocate when their sessions conclude.
