Our mission is to empower children, adolescents, women, and families by collaborating together to identify their unique strengths and qualities that serve them in beautiful ways. Mental health is often stigmatized and our goal is to make everyone realize they are brave for caring for themselves and their families as we are all works in progress. Through the process of therapy, Brave Talk is committed to helping people have space to process their feelings, accept their journey, and find the freedom to feel.
Social Justice
We are committed to social justice, as we not only believe in the ability for change in our clients, but also our society. Brave Talk Therapy is committed to standing by marginalized communities and taking action on their behalf. We believe that Black Lives Matter and are dedicated to providing a space safe for all individuals in the LGBTQIA+ population and any those who identify as BIPOC.
Authenticity
We believe in being able to be your most authentic self in all settings and being able to use your voice for good in the world. Brave Talk Therapy will lead by example as we encourage our clinicians to be their most authentic self and to provide a safe setting for clients while in session.
Collaboration
Brave Talk believes in the importance of collaborating together as well as ensuring that our clinicians are collaborating with community members such as schools and family supports to ensure that all clients get the best support. Collaboration is another way to break down negative stereotypes or lack of understanding about mental health.
Connection
Brave Talk Therapy is dedicated to making connections in the community to ensure that mental health education can go beyond the doors of our practice.
